Cherry Creek Thundereggs

Another newly discovered bed by Jason Hinkle. The stones seem to be highly irregular pieces of agate and matrix that rarely form a distinct module. Most are incomplete and broken and the agate is simple and clear. However, they have one of the most beautiful matrixes in Oregon with lovely green flowbanding. It will be interesting to see what else comes from here over time.
