Skull Springs Thunderegg

From Skull Springs in Eastern Oregon near the town of Harper.

The skull springs thundereggs have a wonderfully meaty texture to their matrix, shot through with torn fissures of agate and opal. The agate in this thunderegg is made up of swirling blue fortification lines with a tiny agate cave at the top. The most vivid feature though is the water leveling lines of red and white common opal.
